New Faculty Orientation
The NTU New Faculty Orientation, organized by the Center for Teaching and Learning Development (CTLD), is designed to support newly appointed full-time and project-based faculty members as they begin their journey at National Taiwan University.
The three-day program brings together in-person activities and online resources to help new faculty become familiar with NTU’s academic environment and the teaching, research, and administrative support available across the University.
The program covers a range of practical topics, including university policies and research resources, course design and AI-enhanced teaching, teaching and learning practices, student advising, and faculty–student relationships. It also provides opportunities for new faculty to connect with colleagues across disciplines, exchange experiences, and build professional networks within the NTU community.
