Division of Administrative Management

The Division of Administrative Management is in charge of the overall administrative affairs of the two centers. It serves as an external liaison, and is responsible for international cooperation and exchange, hosting foreign visitors, supporting the programs of the Office of Academic Affairs, and optimizing the administration of the two centers so as to provide quality services to faculty and students at the University.

Division of Faculty Development

This division is responsible for upgrading faculty members’ pedagogical knowledge and skills and cultivating teaching assistants’ core competencies. It organizes a variety of professional development programs to assist teachers in exploring the possibilities of teaching and enhance teaching quality & students’ learning effectiveness; it also provides intensive supportive services to establish a positive teaching and learning environment.

Division of Learning Support

This division is responsible for student learning support including enhancing students’ learning effectiveness, building up their academic professions, expanding their international perspectives, and nurturing their multinational collaboration abilities. The services provided by this division include academic counseling, Hope Project, International Study Group Project, Active Learning Project and Future Faculty Program (to support graduate students), etc.

Division of Planning & Research

This division is responsible for the analysis of students’ learning outcomes by conducting learning experience surveys as well as researches on innovative teaching and curriculum reform. It seeks to direct attention to students’ learning achievement and furthermore facilitate the planning of academic policies and promote relevant strategies to improve the University’s overall teaching quality.

Division of University Courses (Promotion and Training)

This division is responsible for upgrading faculty members’ digital teaching knowledge and skills by organizing training workshops, providing online teaching guide, and assisting faculty in developing innovative teaching methods. In addition, this division is in charge of the management of the YouTube channel to promote the University’s digital learning resources as well as teaching & research achievements, thereby marketing NTU towards the world.

Division of Public Courses
(Course Production)

This division is responsible for the video recording and production of the University’s digital teaching & learning materials which include open online courses and on-campus lectures, etc. as well as providing assistance and consultation regarding the creation of digital courses. In the meantime this division introduces and promotes the ‘Blended Learning’ models and the course designs emphasizing active and deeper learning to enhance students’ learning effectiveness.

Division of Teaching Technology
(Platform Research & Development)

This division is responsible for assisting teachers and students in using the traditional course management system CEIBA and developing the new digital learning platform NTU COOL in the hope of capacitating teachers and students to effectively use digital materials so as to create more interaction and foster autonomy in teaching and learning.
