Or want to make powerful AI tools to become a reliable assistant in curriculum planning ?  NTU Apple Regional Training Center will soon host two workshops focusing on the “Gemini AI” as productivity tool and “Reality Composer + Keynote AR” on creating augmented reality content. These sessions aim to help NTU teachers and students easily master the skills required for the digital age, and immediately apply the advanced technology to lesson plans and professional content production.

  1. Prompts – Learn how to craft effective prompts, leverage common examples, and explore advanced prompting skills so that Gemini becomes your reliable assistant.
  2. MultiModal Interaction & Utilizations From text generation, interactive story creation, to building personalized assistants and simple interactive lessons — learn how to integrate AI technology into the process of creating teaching content.

※ Registration Information:

  1. All sessions will be delivered in Mandarin.
  2. Participants are required to bring their own laptop (Windows or Mac, both are acceptable) with Google Chrome installed.  In addition, please prepare a Google account (either free or paid). We recommend using a personal account, as institutional or school accounts may have certain feature limitations.

Week 111/20Foundations & Material Design (Keynote AR Thinking)

  1. Keynote Basics – Beyond a presentation tool : use Keynote to design images and animations, create simple interactive lesson pages, and export assets for Reality Composer AR environments.
  2. Case Studies –animal interaction, spatial display, 3D structures with Reality Composer.

  

Week 211/27Reality Composer Basics: Modeling & Interaction

  1. Basic Operations – Scene creation, object placement, material settings; understand anchors and import assets; embed Keynote media into 3D environment and use USDZ / Reality Files
  1. Interaction Behaviors –Trigger setup (Tap, Proximity, Start), animation playback, audio triggers; simple interactive examples showcase.

 

Week 3 ( 12/4 )  Integration & Application

  1. Review Previous Lessons & Learn Advanced Techniques – Link multiple scenes and understand the crosstool workflow of Keynote + Reality Composer.
  1. Project Implementation – Create your own work that includes at least one interaction trigger.

 

 Requirement

  1. Participants should bring their own iPad ( with iOS 18 or above) withReality Composer and Keynote software installed.

* NTU x Apple RTC could provide iPad for participants, but the devices are only available for use during class. As the number of devices is limited, we kindly recommend bringing your own device if possible.

  1. All sessions will be delivered in Mandarin.
  2. As the three sessions of this workshop are closely related, we recommend attending all of them in full.
