🤗 The Office of Future NTU Initiatives, the Training Program for Interdisciplinary Talents of Precision Health, the Center for General Education, Digital Learning Center, and the Office of Innovative Curriculum and Talent Development under the University Academic Alliance in Taiwan are jointly organizing the International Symposium and Exhibition on Higher Education — Educating for the Future: Learning in a Transforming World. We will engage with international scholars and higher education leaders across Taiwan, bringing together the achievements of multiple NTU projects and units to explore future trends in higher education. 🙌 The plenary talk will be “The Most Disrupted Industry: Practical Strategies for AI-Enabled Higher Education”, delivered by Daniel A. Bielik, President of the Digital Education Council (DEC), who will share insights on how higher education can respond to the challenges and opportunities brought by AI, and discuss new directions in cultivating interdisciplinary talent. Participants will have opportunities to exchange ideas with the keynote speaker during the discussion session.

🤩 In the afternoon, the program will feature two parallel themes, “AI in Higher Education” and “Interdisciplinary Talent Cultivation,” each consisting of two half-sessions (Part 1 and Part 2).

🎯 “AI in Higher Education”
Part 1: Associate Dean Tan, Seng Chee (National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore) and Prof. Richard Tzong-Han Tsai (National Central University) will share their perspectives on higher education and talent cultivation in the AI era.
Part 2: Assistant Pro. Yan-Bin Chen (NTU Master’s Program in Statistics), Prof. Jr-Shin Li (Washington University in St. Louis, USA), Assoc. Prof. Jakey Blue (NTU Institute of Industrial Engineering), Distinguished University Prof. Chris M. Anson (North Carolina State University, USA), and Project Instructor Kevin Kau (NTU Writing Center) will discuss the impact of AI across academic disciplines in higher education.

🧑‍🎓 “Interdisciplinary Talent Cultivation”
Part 1: Prof. YP Hung, Prof. Chia-Pin YU, Prof. Li-Jiuan Shen, and Prof. Hui-Mei Chen (NTU) will share their approaches to cultivating interdisciplinary talent in precision health.
Part 2: Assoc. Prof. Mei-Yin Su (NTU Master Program of Sport Facility Management and Health Promotion), Director Tzai-Hung Wen (NTU Center of Population and Gender Studies), Assoc. Prof. Chou-Yu Tsai (Binghamton University, SUNY, USA), Head of Department Maximilian Kleinert (University of Potsdam, Germany), President Munehiko Harada (Osaka University of Health and Sport Sciences, Japan), and Distinguished Prof. Greg William Misiaszek (Tohoku University, Japan) will discuss human-centered interdisciplinary learning.

⭐ The Exhibition will be held at noon, jointly organized by the Office of Future NTU Initiatives, the Training Program for Interdisciplinary Talents of Precision Health, and the Digital Learning Center.
